• Thanks to the expansion of our Asset Library, you can now easily save videos and organise them in folders. This addition will make your Asset Library more comprehensive and provide you with a centralised platform for managing all your media content.‍

🔐 Single Sign-On (SSO)

• With the implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO), we are giving you seamless and secure access to our platform. With this function, you can log in to different systems or applications with just one login, which significantly simplifies the access process and increases security.

🎥 Access to licence-free videos

• In addition to the already familiar Unsplash integration, we are expanding Mate in March with an additional video database. With access to royalty-free videos from Pexels, you can then add videos to your templates even more easily to create emotional content in your corporate design

🖼️ Optimisation of the Asset Library

• Your Asset Library has been refined through the integration of meta information. By simply clicking on the context menu of an asset, you can now obtain detailed information such as file type, image size and dimensions.This enhancement provides more overview and structure in your library to enable more efficient organisation and use of your assets.

🧩 New function for integrating DAM ́s

• The integration of Canto and Coconutbox gives you direct access to your central image database, making it easier to create visuals.The integrated search function enables precise image searches.The search function is defined by the DAM provider's system and may therefore differ in its functionality from the familiar global search from the Mate Asset Library.

The video feature 🎬

• ‍‍As mentioned in our last newsletter, the video feature will soon be available to all users. This new tool allows you to use video backgrounds for your posts and export content including video sound. Video editing is simple and intuitive, and you have the freedom to customise the display duration of each slide.
• Over the next few weeks, a video template will be made available for each workspace. On request, we can add video to your entire template library or develop special, dedicated video templates for you.
• Looking at the timeline, we can already reveal: We are currently working hard to offer you the option of adding sound (MP3/WAV) to your posts.

Mate is constantly improving thanks to your feedback, so we value every opinion we receive from our users. So when you discover the first video template in your library, don't hesitate to try it out and let us know your thoughts. We look forward to your suggestions!

  from now on you will find this icon 🔔 in the software, which informs you about shared posts or status changes in the approval process (currently in beta). In addition to the bell, you can also receive email notifications, which you can switch on and off as you wish in the settings.

With our October update, we're excited to introduce you to the latest features that will save you even more work with Mate. Our August update has already laid the foundation for your AI-based caption texts and now, with the October update, we're taking this even further to take your AI-based caption texts to the next level!

New features for caption text AI

• Whether short and concise or detailed and informative - you decide how your content is presented. With our update, you can now define the style and length of your caption texts. You can also write your caption text based on additional key points.

Approval process‍

• With our new approval process, you can now set a clear status for each post to integrate a smooth approval process into your workflow. You can see at a glance whether your post is being processed, is awaiting approval, has already been approved or has even been published. In your settings, you can define exactly who in your workspace is authorized to approve and who is only allowed to create posts. Your control, your rules!

Mate just got smarter, thanks to our August update! We're adding artificial intelligence to text creation, offering you a choice of two languages, and giving you more control over your integrations.

‍Multi-language

• Mate is now available in two languages for you to collaborate smoothly across all locations! You can choose between English or German in the software and also select a default language for your workspaces.

Integration Settings

• ‍‍For even more control over your content, you now have the option to turn on or off all integrations of your workspace. For example, you are not allowed to use stock images from external databases? You can now easily control Unsplash integration in our workspace settings.

AI Caption Text (Beta)

• ‍‍One click is all it takes: With the new feature, you can have your caption texts in Mate formulated with AI based on your entered content. Text creation has never been so easy!
  Note: Our AI Caption Text Update is currently still a beta version. If you would like to have the feature for your workspace, just drop us a line at hello@mate-studio.com and we'll unlock it for you.
• Before you decide to integrate the AI feature into your workspace, check with your privacy officer. Not all companies welcome the use of artificial intelligence. But if you get the go-ahead, you can finally get started!

We are looking forward to your feedback and especially to your AI-generated caption texts (if we recognize them)! In the meantime, we'll keep working on our software to get the best out of it for you.

Most notably was the question about creating and saving caption text directly in Mate, so you can publish your finished posts even faster. In addition, you now have your own area where you can create drafts of posts before all your colleagues see them.

• You want to try something without all your colleagues in your workspace seeing it? Then Private Posts are just the thing for you! You can adjust the visibility of your posts at any time and share them with your colleagues.

Share your posts with other users

• Within your organization you can now share posts with other users. Just enter their email address in the "Share" menu.

Capture caption texts directly in your created posts

• You would like to pre-formulate the text for the caption on Linkedin, Instagram & Co? Now you can do this easily and quickly in Mate.

Bugfixes

• We have done a lot to make Mate run more reliably in the future and avoid unexpected error messages

With our April update, Mate becomes even more flexible and adapts even better to your individual needs. With the ability to play with image crops, you can now decide live in Mate which image crop fits best in your post. We've also added a GIF export option, made background optimizations, fixed bugs and given you the ability to change your email address with just a few clicks.

• Cropping per dimension: choose individual image cropping depending on the dimension of your post (e.g. different image cropping in story dimension than in 1:1 dimension).

Over the past month, we've made a lot of changes in Mate to make creating your content even more intuitive. In addition to new input features (colors, list & hide individual inputs), you can now upload images for one-time use without that image ending up in your asset library.

Your assets are now even more structured, with the new Folder Update you can structure all your files into folders. This way you can find the right images faster and keep track of your images. Simply drag and drop assets into the appropriate folders.

Now you have an even clearer dashboard and you will never have to search for your files again.

The following functions are now available:

• Create new folders
• Upload assets to folders
• Move assets into folders via drag & drop or multi-select
• Upload your assets simply by drag & drop from your desktop
• Use the multi-select
• Search for folders or assets and reset scopes

With the new updates you can expect a lot more flexibility!

Sharing content between different locations or organizations is a regular use case that we come across again and again. That's why, starting today, we're giving you the ability to share content across different sub-workspaces!

We are full of joy to announce that we have recently taken the sharing feature live!

Collaborating with affiliates and subbrands has never been easier!

From now on, our customers can share content with connected (child) workspaces, for example to provide evergreen content to subbrands or subsidiary organizations.
Sharing content has never been easier! The whole thing is not only interesting for product posts, but also industry news, expert knowledge, event announcements and many other formats.

Save yourself the time-consuming back and forth between image editing and post creation and edit your images now directly in the editor.

You now have an image editor right in Mate, with all the important editing features you know from Photoshop. So you can optimize your photos without detours and with just a few clicks and see in the post preview if the image fits perfectly to the post.

On the one hand, this allows you to make changes to the images used while creating the post, and on the other hand, you can adapt the image perfectly to the post created. Simple: You originally liked the size of the image, but now it looks inappropriate in the visual? Just click on the image editor and crop the image to the perfect size.

With the editor you can

• crop, rotate, zoom, position your images,
• add color and correction filters
• and adjust common values like saturation, contrast, brightness etc.
  

With the Unsplash Integration feature you can save a lot of time searching for suitable images.

Everybody knows it - images often underline the message of your posts and simply loosen them up. A big problem here, however, is the high expenditure of time to create, select and find high-quality, professional and suitable images. In addition, you can't simply use images from the web, because legal problems can quickly arise here and the quality is usually not right. With our Unsplash integration, we solve these problems into thin air, as here suitable images can be searched for and used on the basis of keywords, the high quality of which is guaranteed - and all this directly in Mate!

Especially when creating high-quality and professional social media content, high-resolution images are essential for the quality of the posts. Not everyone has the capacity to constantly produce their own up-to-date and high-quality images, which is why Unsplash integration into Mate guarantees a huge time-saver. Simply enter a keyword in the search line and find the right images for your post at the push of a button.

Mate guarantees you and your team brand compliance in visual communication. Collaborative teamwork is an important part of this to work together even more efficiently.

We are super proud to have successfully launched the Workspace and Live Editing feature. Our customers can now work collaboratively with colleagues within Mate in the Enterprise plan.

Collaborating on an asset has never been easier!‍‍‍

In addition, new workspaces can be created, all users involved can be invited by the administrator of the workspace and of course the rights of the new users can be managed. Large enterprise groups can jump between different branded workspaces in seconds, mastering content production for sub-brands and subsidiaries.

This feature allows you to filter your content library by tags and easily find any post.

The higher the number of posts you create, the more confusing it becomes and the harder it is to find certain posts. We have solved this problem with our newest feature, because you can now sort all posts by different colored tags and find them easily with a search function.

For this purpose, ready-made tags are available to you initially, which you can easily edit and add to. How this feature can optimize and speed up your content creation process and for which use cases you can use the tags?
